Bradd Schwichtenberg joins TFG as a Senior Policy Adviser. As a water resources engineer with 30 years experience developing and implementing projects for the
Army Corps of Engineers, he oversaw regional program management from the Washington level, and resolved policy and budget issues with the Department of Army, and Office of Management and Budget officials. In addition he engaged with members of Congress and their staff on project and legislative issues, and worked closely with cities, counties, and other local government entities to ensure good communication and successful outcomes.
Prior to joining The Ferguson Group, he worked as a Senior Program Manager at Army Corps Headquarters, where he oversaw the implementation of the $10 billion southwestern and southeastern Army Corps civil works programs. He also led a liaison group that resolved policy and project issues at the national level, was the subject matter expert at high level meetings between the Corps, the Administration, and Congressional leaders, and oversaw the regions budget submittal and fiscal issues. He met regularly with “non-Federal Sponsors”, county, city, and other local officials working to ensure good communication and efficient project completion.
He holds a BS in Civil Engineering, a Masters of Ocean Engineering, and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California.
