Courtney Miller is a senior Associate at TFG. She was a former senior staffer on Capitol Hill. Courtney worked in member services, investigations, and legislation for Chairpersons Carolyn B. Maloney and Elijah E. Cummings on the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.
Courtney also worked in the legislative office of the Late Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland’s 7th District and served as the Legislative Director for Representative Shontel M. Brown of Ohio's 11th District.
As Legislative Director, Courtney supervised the appropriations process, community project funding requests, debt ceiling negotiations, daily vote recommendations, committee assignments and legislative agenda.
Courtney has experience in both the private sector and public sector, at local, state and federal levels. Courtney earned a master’s degree from Cornell University's Institute for Public Affairs and a bachelor’s degree from Emory University.
