Katie Sanchez is the Summer 2024 Advocacy Intern at TFG. She supports the Advocacy Division by providing data tracking and research for staff and clients. Previously, Katie managed a Cincinnati City Council campaign along with work on several other local government campaigns. She has also served as an Intern in the Office of Ohio State Representative Cecil Thomas. Additionally, she contributed to faculty research on twentieth century Mexican political art as an undergraduate assistant in the Xavier University Department of History.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Katie is a rising senior at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she studies under the Philosophy, Politics and the Public Honors Program with a second major in History. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Newswire, Xavier’s student newspaper.
