Senior Grants Specialist

Nicole M. Sibilski, a grants professional specializing in federal RFPs, is a Senior Grants Specialist at TFG. In this role, Nicole develops grant products that directly support the lifecycle of federal grant proposal development for TFG's clients.

Nicole has nearly two decades of writing and legal experience that has produced over $150 million in state and federal grant awards from USDA, DOJ, DOL, DOT, DOE, DOD, and NEA, among others. Prior to joining TFG, Nicole worked as a writer, trainer, and business development consultant for multiple national proposal writing and lobbying firms. Prior to starting her own consulting firm, she served as the Grants Manager for The Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, where she guided the creation and funding of the first state-wide elder abuse legal aid program in the country.

A longstanding member of the Grant Professionals Association, she served as the regional President of the Nashville Chapter (2016), a Board Member of the Grant Professional Foundation (2017-2020) and has been invited to present grant workshops and trainings at multiple regional and national conferences.

Nicole received her BFA from Millikin University and J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

TFG Monitoring Developments of Temporary Pause of Agency Grant, Loan, and Other Financial Assistance Programs

On January 27, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) under President Trump issued a memorandum titled “Temporary Pause of Agency Grant, Loan, and Other Financial Assistance Programs.” The directive mandates Federal agencies to temporarily suspend the obligation and disbursement of federal financial assistance while conducting a comprehensive review of programs and awards to ensure alignment with the administration’s policies and priorities. As part of this review, agencies are also instructed to temporarily suspend the issuance of new program solicitations.
