WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that $4.6 million in federal funds will be used to control erosion and prevent flooding of the Smale Riverfront Park at the Cincinnati Riverfront. The funding is allocated in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) FY2014 work plan.

Sam Arkoff

Samuel (Sam) Arkoff is TFG’s Summer 2024 Grant Research Intern. In this role, Sam assists clients in locating and researching grant opportunities, preparing funding reports, and assisting with the preparation and submission of grant applications. Sam has experience with transportation grants, regulations, legal research, economic analyses, and communications.

Most recently, Sam interned at the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General, as an investigator in the Internal Special Audit Unit. Previously, he interned at the Minnesota Democratic Farmer-Labor Party in the Party Affairs department. While at school, he also holds office hours and material review sessions for economics students as a Teacher’s Assistant. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
