The purpose of this program is to support state-endorsed programs to issue cost share payments to landowners for climate mitigation and/or forest resilience practices, as directed by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). WHO'S ELIGIBLE?  States, the District of Columbia, groups of states, entities implementing an Interstate Rail Compact, public agencies or publicly chartered authorities established by one or more states, political subdivision of states, federally recognized Native American tribes, any rail carrier in partnership with at least one other eligible applicant, and Amtrak or another rail carrier that provides intercity rail passenger transportation

FY 2024-2026 Reconnecting Communities Pilot (RCP) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to advance community centered transportation connection projects, with a priority for projects that benefit disadvantaged communities, that improve access to daily needs such as jobs, education, healthcare, food, nature, and recreation, and foster equitable development and restoration, and to provide technical assistance to further these goals.
