WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports capital projects to improve existing passenger ferry services; establish new ferry services; and repair and modernize ferry boats, terminals, and related facilities and equipment. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible applicants are designated recipients of Section 5307 funds, states or regional authorities, and direct recipients of the Federal Transit Administration’s Urbanized Area Formula Grants that operate a public ferry system in an urbanized area.

Grant Due: FY 2022 Electric or Low-Emitting Ferry Pilot Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program helps to support the purchase of electric or low-emitting ferries, the electrification of or other reduction of emissions from existing ferries, and related charging or other fueling infrastructure for which the award recipients will maintain satisfactory continuing control. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, tribes, and designated or direct recipients eligible under the Federal Transit Administration Urbanized Area Formula Program (Section 5307) or Formula Grants for Rural Areas Program (Section 5311).

Grant Due: FY 2022 Transformational Habitat Restoration and Coastal Resilience Grants Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will support transformational projects that restore habitat for our nation’s fisheries and protected resources, while also strengthening the resilience of coastal communities and ecosystems. Grant Due: FY 2022 Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program accelerates investment in our nation’s water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure by providing long-term, low-cost, supplemental credit assistance under customized terms to creditworthy water infrastructure projects of national and regional significance.
