WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to establish new family drug courts and enhance existing family drug courts to more effectively intervene with parents, children, and families affected by a substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorder who are involved in the child welfare system as a result of child abuse and neglect or other parenting issues.
