WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides eligible, incarcerated individuals in state correctional facilities or local/county jails with workforce services prior to release and to continue services after release by transitioning the participants into reentry programs in the community to which they will return. Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, non-profit industry organizations, public institutions of higher education, nonprofit postsecondary institutions with or without 501(c)(3) status, state or local governments, for-profit organizations, and Indian or Native American entities eligible for awards under Section 166 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
