Grant Due: FY 2022 Reduction in Lead Exposure Via Drinking Water
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to reduce lead in drinking water in disadvantaged communities through full lead service line replacements and/or treatment improvements, or facility remediation in schools and childcare facilities. For the purposes of this program, a disadvantaged community is defined as the service area of a public water system that meets affordability criteria each state establishes under section 1452(d)(3) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).
