Grant Due: FY 2022 Refuge Enhancement/Infrastructure Partnerships Initiative

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program encourages National Wildlife Refuge System field stations to partner with local, regional, and national nonprofit organizations, other land management groups, state and tribal partners on refuge improvement projects. The goals of the initiative are to enable local communities to play a more active role in increasing outdoor recreation opportunities on refuge lands and waters, to be more focused and deliberate in using partnerships to help the Service address infrastructure repair and improvement needs such as proactive maintenance and the maintenance backlog, and to enhance wildlife habitat. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State governments, county governments, city or township governments, special district governments, Native American Tribal governments and organizations, nonprofits, institutions of higher education, school districts, for-profit organizations, and small businesses

The purpose of this program is to ensure that clean energy programs and investments result in good jobs and greater access to these jobs for target populations by equipping coalitions with tools to support these goals. TFG Monitoring Developments of Temporary Pause of Agency Grant, Loan, and Other Financial Assistance Programs

On January 27, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) under President Trump issued a memorandum titled “Temporary Pause of Agency Grant, Loan, and Other Financial Assistance Programs.” The directive mandates Federal agencies to temporarily suspend the obligation and disbursement of federal financial assistance while conducting a comprehensive review of programs and awards to ensure alignment with the administration’s policies and priorities. As part of this review, agencies are also instructed to temporarily suspend the issuance of new program solicitations.
