Grant Due: FY 2022 Regional Partnership Grants to Increase the Well-Being of, and to Improve the Permanency Outcomes for, Children and Families Affected by Opioids and Other Substance Abuse Program
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports regional partnerships that provide, through interagency collaboration and integration of programs, activities and services that are designed to increase well-being, improve permanency, and enhance the safety of children who are in, or are at risk of being placed in, out-of-home placement as a result of a parent's or caregiver's opioid or other substance abuse. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Regional partnerships, which must include state child welfare agencies responsible for the administration of the state plan and state agencies responsible for administering the substance abuse prevention and treatment block grant. Additional partners may include federally recognized Indian tribes or tribal consortia, nonprofit or for-profit child welfare service providers, community health service providers, community mental health providers, local law enforcement agencies, school personnel, tribal child welfare agencies, or consortia of such agencies, and other qualified providers.
