Grant Due: FY 2022 The Community Forest and Open Space Conservation Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to establish community forests by protecting forest land which has been identified as a national, regional, or local priority from conversion to non-forest uses. Supported projects should provide community benefits, including sustainable forest management, environmental benefits, benefits from forest-based educational programs, benefits from serving as models of effective forest stewardship, and recreational benefits secured with public access.
