Grant Due: FY 2023 Food Safety Outreach Competitive Grants Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to help develop and implement food safety training, education, extension, outreach, and technical assistance projects that address the needs of owners and operators of small to mid-sized farms, beginning farmers, socially disadvantaged farmers, small processors, veteran farmers and ranchers, and/or small fresh fruit and vegetable merchant wholesalers. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Federal, state, local or tribal agencies, institutions of higher education, foundations maintained by institutions of higher education, cooperative extension services for U.S. states or territories, and nongovernmental organizations and/or community-based organizations representing owners and operators of farms, small food processors, or small fruit and vegetable merchant wholesalers.
