FY 2019 WaterSMART Grants: Small-Scale Water Efficiency Projects

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports small-scale water efficiency projects that have been prioritized through planning efforts led by the applicant. These projects conserve and use water more efficiently; mitigate conflict risk in areas at high risk of future water conflict; and accomplish other benefits that contribute to water supply reliability in the Western United States. Example projects include canal lining/piping, municipal metering, irrigation flow measurements, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and automation, and irrigation measures. Click here for more information. 
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, Indian Tribes, irrigation districts, water districts, or other organizations with water or power delivery located in the Western United States or United States Territories.
