WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to promote the wellness of young children, from birth to eight years of age, by addressing the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral aspects of their development. The overarching goal of the program is to foster the healthy development and wellness of young children, preparing them to thrive in school and beyond. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States and territorial governments; government units within political subdivisions of states such as counties, cities, and towns; federally recognized American Indian / Alaska Native (AI/AN) tribes, tribal organizations, Urban Indian Organizations (UIO's), and consortia of tribes and tribal organizations; public or private universities or colleges; and community- and faith-based organizations
