Rebecca Bliss is a Research Assistant at The Ferguson Group. She assists the firms lobbyists and staff on a variety of grant and research projects. She tracks federal legislation and current bills for critical information, and locates grant opportunities for municipal government and nonprofit clients. Rebecca also attends congressional and industry hearings and briefings composing summaries and memorandums for both clients and staff. Rebecca's issue areas include topics in energy, natural resources, and state and local development.
Prior to joining The Ferguson Group, Rebecca has experience working in a Government Relations firm in Washington, D.C., where she analyzed and tracked federal legislation as well as research the impact of federal legislation on local government. She has also worked on Capitol Hill for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and within the White Plains, NY district office of Congresswoman Nita Lowey. Rebecca conducted policy research on various issues relating to federal defense, education systems, and water.
